GARBAGE SERVICE SUSPENDED - Thursday, February 9th

Due to forecasted weather conditions, Garbage Service for District 1, Thursday, 2/09 has been suspended. Contractor will perform collection for District 1 on Friday, 2/10 instead.

 

NEW Garbage & Recycling Contractor - SUBURBAN DISPOSAL

Please take note that the Borough's contractor for garbage and recycling collection has changed. Suburban Disposal will be providing services beginning Thurs. January 25, 2017. There are NO other changes to your service and you should continue to place your garbage and recycling at the curb per the current schedule.

CHRISTMAS TREE DISPOSAL

Christmas trees for disposal can be placed at the curb on your 2nd garbage pick up of the week up until January 31st.

PHONE SCAM ADVISORY FROM THE OCEANPORT POLICE

The Oceanport Police Department has received reports related to a telephone scam in which the caller purports to be an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) representative. Using intimidation tactics, the caller tries to take control of the situation from the beginning. The caller advises the recipient of the call that the IRS has charges against them and threatens legal action and arrest. If the recipient questions the caller in any way, the caller becomes more aggressive. Click to view full advisory
