Certificate of Occupancy Information

C.O. for rental/resale is required whenever there is a change of occupancy for a property.

For Residential C.O.

Application is made in the Building/Zoning Department at Borough Hall for a fee of $50.00.

After the application is made, a review is performed for determination of any open permits or violations. Once cleared by the Building Department, the application will be forwarded to the Housing Inspector. The Housing Inspector will contact you within 21 business days to schedule the inspection. There is a checklist available.

For specific questions please ask the Housing Inspector, Allen Parker, when scheduling the inspection date.
