COMMITTEE Information
The Recreation Committee was created in 1977 and is charged with the responsibility to plan, promote and organize the Borough's recreational programs within the Borough and administer same in the interests of the entire community.
Members
The Committee consists of ten members appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of Council. Appointments are for three year terms and end on December 31 of the third year. Terms are staggered such that 1/3 of the members' terms shall expire each year. Vacancies are filled in the same manner as the original appointment but for the expired term.
