Governing Body
As Secretary to the Governing Body, the Municipal Clerk maintains all records with regard to the Borough’s local ordinances, resolutions and public proceedings. The Municipal Clerk is responsible for preparing meeting agendas, attending all Council meetings, administering oaths, keeping an official record of all meetings, minutes, ordinances and resolutions.  


Elections and Voting
The Municipal Clerk is also Chief Administrative Officer of all elections held in the municipality and Chief Registrar of Voters in the Borough. Public Records
The Clerk is also the custodian of the Borough's records. As such, the Clerk is a major source of information for our residents. Public record requests are processed through this office.  (NJ Open Public Records Act)  Requests may be submitted through our SDL portal or by completing the fillable PDF listed in our Documents and Forms page.
