NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

BOROUGH OF OCEANPORT

NOTICE is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held for the purpose of receiving comments on an application to the County of Monmouth for Open Space Trust Funds under the Monmouth County Municipal Open Space Grant Program.

The public hearing meeting will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Clement V. Sommers Municipal Building, 910 Oceanport Way, Oceanport, NJ 07757.

The Borough of Oceanport desires to obtain Monmouth County Municipal Open Space Grant Program funds for the Maria Gatta Park Phase IV Improvements. Anticipated proposed improvements include installation of water and sewer services, construction of a 2,500 s.f. building to house restrooms and provide storage and will include a roof overhang over a patio area to provide shade and protection from the weather for Maria Gatta Park (220 Port Au Peck Ave; Block 88, Lot 26.02)

The public is invited to attend and participate.
